 ISMS Publications:
ISMS publishes, both online and print, Scientiae Mathematicae Japonicae(SCMJ)which is the unified series of Mathematica Japonica (M.j.) and Scientiae Mathematicae(SCM).Accepted papers will be published first in SCMJ online with no lead-time after acceptance (or typesetting). Then the papers will appear on the SCMJ printed version after several months.
The features of SCMJ are:
1) The Editorial Board of SCMJ consists of the distinguished researchers including 40 foreign professors. Authors are to submit their papers directly to an editor, which enables prompt refereeing and publication.
2) Every issue has original papers submitted by famous mathematical scientists and every printed issue has a very interesting expository paper submitted by the internationally famous mathematical scientists in the section International Plaza.
3) SCMJ is distributed to many libraries in the word. All papers are reviewed on Math.
Review and Zentrallblatt.

ISMS International Video Conference of Mathematical Sciences(IVMS):
The ISMS has set up a video conferencing system which can connect up to four sites of a research group in the same or different countries in the world.Using this system, speakers of the session can write on a white board or an OHP sheet or use PowerPoint. On the other hand participants can ask questions or make comments. All these are performed similarly to the traditional meetings.Organizers of sessions chair their co-ordination sites. To connect with our system, you can use your own videoconferencing system only if it satisfies the International Telecommunication Union-Technical Comittee Standards(ITU-T Standard,See page i).

 ISMS Annual Meeting:
Many researchers of ISMS members and non-members gather and make presentations and discussions in their research groups. This meeting promotes their researches through their discussions. At the same time, lectures by the winners of the JAMS PRIZE and the JAMS T.SHIMIZU PRIZE and other presentations of the research frontier are made.

Privileges to ISMS Members:

  1. Free access (including printing out) to the online SCMJ
  2. Discounted price for the printed version of SCMJ (see Table 1)
  3. Discounted page charges (see Table 2)

The amounts of dues are : \yen 70,000 for the domestic members, US\$ 600 for the foreign members, and US\$ 500 for the members in developing countries.

We have reduced the ISMS membership dues since 2001 and copies of the printed journal have not been distributed to the members, free of charge.Instead,we give User Name and Password to each member so that he/she can view or print out the full text of the papers published in SCMJ except papers in the international plaza from our Web site (http://www.jams.or.jp).
The Membership Dues for each category is as follows.Categories for the advance payment for 3years have been newly created.
