We show the difference between the set of 

Bre\v{s}ar generalized derivations and the 

set of generalized derivations as $K$-modules 

over a commutative ring $K$. We also refer to 

the extendability of Bre\v{s}ar generalized 

derivations. Moreover, we apply the results to 

generalized Jordan derivations.
